Stay True.

I saw this on someone's Facebook status the other day: "How you get him, is how you keep him." THIS IS SO TRUE. If you have to get a guy by trying to be someone you're not, you're going to have to continue what you've been doing to maintain your place in the relationship and where you stand. The only way you can be happy is by building your relationship with him through God. Even if it's subconsiously, it may not be extremely obvious right now. But, just be yourself. The right guy will come along in God's perfect timing and he will love you for the real you, even if you feel like you can't love yourself-it will happen.

I'll Never Understand..

So, there's one thing I'll never understand; why girls allow guys to constantly be disrespectful towards them. I'm so sick of hearing girls talk about how all guys are the same, because when it comes down to it.. they're really not. Every guy is different and how guys treat you depends on the way you act towards them. For example, let's use girl1 and girl2. Both girls plan to go out with a guy expecting to have a nice time. Girl1 decides to wear a low cut, short dress. She wears lots of make-up and too much perfume. Girl2 on the other hand wears a modest dress and goes for a more natural look. She is confident in know that her smile is her best asset. Now, how do you think these two girls nights will differ from each other. Ding ding ding, you guessed it. Obviously girl1's date will be staring at her body all night, with intentions of only "getting in her pants." Girl2's date pays attention to her face and personality. It doesn't take a genius to put those facts together. You lead a guy into how you want your date to go. If you're only looking for a fun night at the club, then by all means- girl1 is definitely your go to role model. If this is true you need to check your priorities in life. But, the main thought here is that not ALL guys are the same. You chose how your "love life" goes. Good, guys that are on fire for God are actually out there. You just have to put your guard up against those that aren't.
This blog won't give you perfect answers, but the Bible will.
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
    1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)
